Summer Youth Academy

The ACCESS Summer Youth Academy expands children’s potential by providing a creative, safe, and fun environment in which they can develop socially, intellectually, physically and emotionally.

Designed for students in grades 1-5, the Youth Academy serves at least 50 kids at Salina Elementary in Dearborn. However, expansion is underway at eight sites throughout metro Detroit Metro which will serve an additional 360 children.

The program:

• Provides opportunities for fun and adventure in a safe and supervised environment
• Encourages the development of physical, academic, and social skills
• Improves leadership skills
• Fosters development in the areas of physical/health education, literacy/math skills, and character education
